CLINICAL CHALLENGE
Detecting and diagnosing diseases during endoscopy is challenging and studies have shown up to 25% of abnormal tissue can be missed. Increasing the detection/diagnosis performance can lead to improved patient outcomes. A 1% increase in Adenoma Detection Rate (ADR) leads to a 3% reduction in cancer incidents.
Clinical Trials
CADDIE Trial – Led by University College London Hospital this Multi Centre Randomized Clinical Trial is evaluating the clinical effectiveness of AI for polyp detection.
FORE-AI Trial – Led by Cardiff University Hospital this Multi Centre Randomized Clinical Trial is evaluating the clinical impact of AI for polyp characterisation.
EARTHSCAN Trial – Led by University College London this Randomized Clinical Trial is evaluating cloud based AI technology and next generation telecommunications technology to improve endoscopy.
