CEO
Peter Mountney is an accomplished and seasoned leader with a strong track record of translating pioneering research into clinical products that improve patient outcome, reduce healthcare costs and improve patient experience. Prior to joining Odin, Peter worked for Siemens Healthineers in Germany, USA and UK leading AI and digital programmes across a wide range of clinical applications. He has brought multiple regulated medtech products to the market.
Peter holds a PhD in Medical Imaging from Imperial College. He is an Honorary Associate Professor at University College London, a Fellow of the Royal Academy of Engineering Enterprise Hub and a member of the Royal Society Industrial College and was previously a Royal Society Entrepreneur in Residence.
DANIEL TOTH

Daniel Toth is a technology leader with a wealth of experience developing cloud and artificial intelligence products in the medical imaging industry. Daniel’s core strength is in creating and managing cross functional teams of engineers, scientists and clinicians to create impactful medical products within a regulatory environment. Previously, Daniel worked Siemens Healthineers for over 5 years, developing and releasing real-time computer aided software for interventional imaging.
Daniel holds a PhD in medical imaging and artificial intelligence from Kings College London, his work has won multiple awards and he was a Royal Society Industry Fellow.
PATRICK BRANDAO

Patrick Brandao is an award-winning researcher who has pioneered the use of artificial intelligence in endoscopy and he is one of the original contributors to the 2015 MICCAI polyp detection challenge. His background is in deep learning with computer vision and its translation into clinical practice. Prior to joining Odin, Patrick was undertaking a PhD at Wellcome Trust and EPSRC Centre for Surgical Sciences, University College London where he collaborated with clinicians to develop polyp detection systems. This research was spun out of the university and led to the founding of Odin Vision. Patrick is experienced in leading research and collaborations including grant funded project from InnovateUK, the European Space Agency and EU Horizon 2020.
Patrick holds a PhD from University College London on AI in Endoscopic. His work has been published in the world’s leading clinical and technical journals.
LUKE SAMPSON

Luke Sampson is a highly experienced operations and regulatory leader with over 15 years in the biomedical industry. He has a background in establishing, integrating and leading new operational teams. He has designed, implemented and managed multiple accredited ISO quality/regulatory systems including for FDA and CE compliance.
Luke holds a BSc(Hons) and is a BSI trained ISO13485 auditor. He is a thought leader on quality/regulatory processes for AI-as-a-Medical Devices and has consulted on national projects for AI and data driven technologies with institutes such as HRA, MHRA, NICE and CQC.

Laura Jones is a seasoned neuroscientist with a profound background in neuroimaging techniques and neonatal research. Following her PhD, she dedicated eight years to academia at UCL, specializing in the development of pain perception in preterm neonates. Her research focused on monitoring physiological, hormonal, and behavioral responses in neonates, primarily using EEG, MRI, and fNIRS. Laura's work has been widely disseminated through peer-reviewed journal articles, conference seminars, lectures, and various media including blogs, radio, and newspaper interviews. Transitioning from academia, Laura joined Odin Vision as a Senior Clinical Trials Manager. At Odin, she is instrumental in advancing AI technology for endoscopy, overseeing the planning and coordination of clinical trials from pilot studies to international randomized controlled trials. Her expertise plays a crucial role in developing products from concept to post-market research.
